Mrs. Mecher

Education:

  • BA in Education from College of Mt. St. Joseph
  • 23 hours of post graduate work

Committees/Achievements:

  • Presenter at the OCEA convention (Environmental Activities for grades 1-4 and Learning Centers Across the Curriculum),
  • Presenter of Literature Activities and Learning Centers for primary grades at a Literature conference at Miami University
  • Was a member of the Advisory Board for the Hamilton County Environmental Services Education Department.  As part of that board, I also helped write an Environmental Curriculum for 1st grade that is now being used in the Cincinnati Public School System.  I presented a workshop to help train teachers using activities from the curriculum.
