Educational Scholarship Assistance Program
ESAP
The Educational Scholarship Assistance Program (ESAP) is a privately-funded grant program. Students from your school are eligible to apply for two types of awards for the 2012-2013 school year.
FINANCIAL AID AWARDS

Awards will be made in the amounts of $100-500 per student.

Open to both boys and girls.

Available for students who will be in grades 5, 6, 7, and 8 for the 2012-13 school year.

Once the awards are made, funds will be sent to the elementary school to be credited to the family’s tuition bill.

Awards will apply to 2012-13 school year.

Awards will be based on financial need as determined by PSAS – Private School Aid Service. Click here to download a copy of the PSAS financial aid application. If you completed the PSAS aid application for any school or program within the Archdiocese of Cincinnati in the fall of 2011 or spring of 2012, you do not need to re-apply. You are automatically considered for ESAP aid awards.

SCHOLARSHIPS

Scholarships in the amount of $500 will be awarded to one boy and one girl currently in the 7th grade.

Awards are for the 8th grade year at their parish school.

Awards are based on application.

Financial need is not a factor considered for scholarships.

HISTORY OF THE ESAP PROGRAM
Funds committed to this program are completely separate from Elder’s General Fund and Financial Aid Program. Elder High School is strictly the administrator for the program.
