May Crowning - We honored our patroness, the Blessed Mother, with a beautiful procession before the 9:30 am Mass on Mother’s Day. For pictures and information, please click here.

Volunteers needed for Parish Photo Directory Project - The parish office could use some additional volunteers to help schedule photos to be taken for the new parish directory beginning this summer. Those interested should contact Jennifer Machuga at 347-8823 or JMachuga@olv.org. There is also one additional spot available on Parish Council for the upcoming year. Those interested in taking on this important role in the parish should contact Jim Luebbe at 941-1982 or jluebbecpa@yahoo.com.

Kroger Rewards are Changing - Kroger is changing their neighborhood rewards program. The change will be effective May 1, 2012. Instead of having a separate reloadable card the reward will be tied directly to your Kroger Plus Card. For more information regarding the changes, please click here.

New threats to religious liberty - We continue to face ongoing grave threats to our religious liberty and freedom of conscience because of the federal government's Health and Human Services rulings on insurance coverage for immoral procedures. Archbishop Schnurr has asked all of the faithful to pray, fast and act in response. Please click here for more information including a news release just issued on April 12 from the USCCB.

A Panel Presentation with Q&A regarding HHS Affordable Care Act - If you were unable to attend either of the two presentations on the HHS Affordable Care Act, the Archdiocese has provided a video and resources from the event. Each event included presentations from a panel of experts in the areas of: moreal theology, Catholic social teaching, civil law and its impact on religious institutions, and the Church's teachings on human sexuality. A Vision for Catholic Schools - Under the leadership of new Catholic schools superintendent Dr. Jim Rigg, the Archdiocese of Cincinnati is preparing to assist school throughout the diocese by creating a common vision for Catholic education. After several months of efforts, the information gathering phase has just been completed, and the Archdiocese has just released a detailed and comprehensive report on the current state of that education. Hospital Visits - In April, 2003, new national hospital-patient privacy laws were enacted. Therefore, many hospitals will not notify Our Lady of Victory of your admission. If you would like someone from Our Lady of Victory to visit you in the hospital, please call the parish office to notify us.
